About the Author

Father Eric Gilhooly, LC, was born on August 12, 1986, in Syracuse, New York. He entered the minor seminary in 1999. His major seminary formation took him to Ireland, Connecticut, and Rome. He studied in the Pontifical Athenum Regina Apostolorum, where he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in philosophy as well as his bachelor’s degree in theology. He was ordained to the diaconate in Syracuse on May 19, 2018, and was sent to Bogota, Columbia to begin his ministry. He was ordained a priest on May 4, 2019.
